I use the journal for recording Òholy instantsÓ in my life, so I won'tforget them. I pray in my journal, and write down what I hear in response. Inthis workshop we will practice a number of forms of journal keeping, includingputting color in our journals.
2) ÒDiscerning and Following Divine Leadings.Ó My book, Nudged by the Spirit:Stories of People Responding to the Still Small Voice of God, published in 2001is about 14 people who follow their leadings. I believe it is very importantfor Quakers to recognize their own leadings and to support the leadings ofother Friends. In this workshop we will identify leadings we have had in thepast as well as how we have supported other people's leadings. We will openourselves to nudges we may be feeling at this present time and consider how wemight respond. 3) ÒLearn to Facilitate a Stillness Retreat for your Meeting:ÓI've been going to a number of meetings this year to help them get started ondoing Stillness Retreats.
