New England Friends in Unity with Nature

NEFUN Mission:
The NEFUN Committee is charged with stimulating monthly meetings and their members to strengthen and deepen that spiritual unity with nature that values the integrity, diversity, and stability of ecological relationships. It is further charged with assisting the Yearly Meeting on public policy, and is to serve as a link to FCUN. Our current work also supports discernment around New England Monthly Meetings of the faith and practice of sustainability as requested by Yearly Meeting in 1998. The perspective of sustainability brings the long term view to existing Quaker concerns of peace, justice and simplicity.

The Sourcebook:
We ask that each Meeting download the sourcebook (~700 KB) and put it in a loose leaf binder, creating your own sections and cover label. Please assign someone from your Meeting to care for the book, and let us know what you use from the book as the year goes on. If you have something to contribute to the book, please send it to nefunclerk@neym.org or postal mail to Molly Anderson, 22 Lawrence Ln. Arlington, MA 02174
