Typical Monthly Schedule of Activities Around Meeting For Worship

Childcare for Fresh Pond Activities: During our after-meeting activities, childcare is available for all children -- with assistance provided by community members. Childcare is usually in the gym, and when appropriate, outdoors. For more information please speak to members of the Quaker Education and Childcare Committee.

First Sunday: Monthly Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business -- 11:30 to 1 pm

Our meeting for business is conducted in a manner similar to our worship. We listen carefully for God's guidance -- with mutual care and regard for one another's wisdom. Ultimately, Quaker decision-making is Spirit-led, for together we seek unity with God's will for the meeting. The co-clerks are the appointed servant leaders of our meeting.

Second Sunday: Potluck -- 11:30 to 12:30 pm

A monthly potluck under the care of the Worship and Ministry Committee. You are invited to share a meal with us and join in conversation and fellowship.

Third Sunday: Adult Education -- 11:30 to 1 pm

We join together to learn about Quaker history, spirituality, practices, and other subjects that build the life of our community.

Fourth Sunday: Singing -- 9:00 am

Join us for singing before meeting. All voices welcome.

Fourth Sunday: Women's Group -- 11:30 to 1 pm

All women welcome. We meet from September through May except December.

Healing and Prayer Group -- 9:00 to 10 am

We meet once a month before meeting for worship. All are welcome.
