Teaching Godly Play Abingdon Press, 1995, 120 pages Subjects: Teaching , Bible Grades: K-2, 3-5 Review: "The Sunday Morning Handbook." A follow-up for "Godly Play", this is a more specific how-to manual for instituting Godly Play as a classroom technique using Montessori methods. "The goal is to teach children the art of using the language of the Christian tradition to encounter God and find direction for their lives." Still not a curriculum, it gives enough background to begin teaching in an imaginative, story-centered way. -CMJ |
