The Overseers Committee consists of members and attenders responsible for pastoral care and community within the Meeting. The committee seeks to encourage a nurturing atmosphere, deeper communication, and more caring relationships. The Committee looks for ways in which the Meeting can reach out to new attenders and members and remembers Friends with special problems. Once a year, the Committee communicates with non-resident Friends. The Committee strives to grow more loving, perceptive, and discreet and bears in mind as it goes about these tasks that the implementation of this caring is the charge of the Meeting as a gathered whole.
