The First Day School (Sunday School) Committee is concerned with the spiritual growth of children and young Friends in the Meeting and with their relation to the broader life of the Meeting. The Committee's primary responsibility is to coordinate the religious education of the school-age children and the care of the preschoolers during weekly Meeting for Worship. Committee members carry out this responsiblity by planning curricula, by serving as First Day School teachers, and by involving others in the Meeting as teachers.
